Farewell to Michael Boris

Seminarian Michael Boris has completed his 9 month assignment to St. Rose of Lima and Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parishes. Michael now departs Carbondale as he moves to the next level of his formation. His next stop will be Omaha, Nebraska for nine weeks followed by returning to St. Mary’s Seminary in Baltimore. Thank you Mike for all you did and for all you are! May God continue to inspire your discernment of the call to Holy Priesthood and may your good example inspire other men from our parishes to consider the call as well!

Outdoor Mass at Takach's Grove - May 15, 2021

Following the success of the outdoor Mass that we held at the end of August 2020, we are happy to announce that there will be another outdoor Mass to be held at Takach's Grove on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 5pm. Takach's Grove is located at 256 Sandy Banks Road, Greenfield Township.

Come join us for an outside Mass under a large open-air covered pavilion will allow for adequate social distancing and a quality sound system will ensure everyone will clearly hear the readings and prayers of the Mass. No reservations required. If you have yet to attend an "in-person" Mass, this may be your opportunity. Masks will still be required to keep everyone as safe as possible.

This Mass will be livestreamed on our Facebook and YouTube page, or at 3as1catholics.org

PLEASE NOTE: 4pm Mass at St. Rose and 5:30pm Mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel will not be held on Saturday, May 15th only. The outdoor Mass will serve as the only Saturday Mass that weekend. All Sunday Masses on May 16th will proceed as normally scheduled.
